We will also be available to assist you on a continual basis, whether it’s to answer simple questions or offer additional training. Q: How large should my retail space be? A: Our stores range in size between 800 and 1200 square feet. We will help you to find the right location, as well as guide you on rent negotiations if necessary. Q: What is the Franchise Fee? A : A one-time charge of $12,500. As compared to other similar businesses we are far more economical and fair in our pricing, allowing you the opportunity to make a profit and avoid unrealistic start-up costs. Q: What can I expect my initial investment to be to open a Spice Merchants store? A: You should plan on an initial investment of $60,000 to $127,000 to get your store up and running. This cost takes you literally from an empty building to an open and operating store; it will include your build-out, a point of sale inventory system, trade-dress fixtures, display tables, initial product inventory, signage, and your training.
