Spice Merchants Franchise Opportunities
Q: Why a Spice Merchants Franchise?
A: Spice Merchants has been in business since 2003; we have a strong history of success and know what it takes to make a business excel. Our stores typically prove to be profitable within the first year, and maintain that profitability year after year.
Q: Do I need a culinary background or experience in the Spice Business?
A: Absolutely not! All you really need is enthusiasm and passion to own & operate your own business, as well as a love of working with people. We will fully train you in all facets of day-to-day operations from opening to closing and everything in between. We will also be available to assist you on a continual basis, whether it’s to answer simple questions or offer additional training.
Q: How large should my retail space be?
A: Our stores range in size between 800 and 1200 square feet. We will help you to find the right location, as well as guide you on rent negotiations if necessary.
Q: What is the Franchise Fee?
A : A one-time charge of $12,500. As compared to other similar businesses we are far more economical and fair in our pricing, allowing you the opportunity to make a profit and avoid unrealistic start-up costs.
Q: What can I expect my initial investment to be to open a Spice Merchants store?
A: You should plan on an initial investment of $60,000 to $127,000 to get your store up and running. This cost takes you literally from an empty building to an open and operating store; it will include your build-out, a point of sale inventory system, trade-dress fixtures, display tables, initial product inventory, signage, and your training.
Q: Will I have a protected territory?
A: Yes, size of territories are determined based on certain location and population criteria.
Q: I want to pursue the ownership of my own Spice Merchants store. What do I do now?
A: You can Email us at email@example.com Please include your name, phone number, and the city/state where you would like to open a store. We will respond to you at our earliest opportunity, and set up a call to further discuss the details via phone, if allowable in your state.
