Tea 101: A Tea Introduction
Make 2019 the year you break out of your soda or coffee habit and make the switch to tea. In this informative tasting class we take you around the world in a cup. Learn about the history of tea’s spread around the world; how tea is cultivated and processed; tea grades and quality; and how to brew and enjoy the perfect cup, all while sampling different tea types from major tea producing regions.

Spice 101: What’s in your pantry?
Do you have spices in your cabinet dating back to your wedding? Did you get talked into buying a specialty spice but now have no idea how to use it? Are you wondering whether the spices and herbs you have are even any good? This class will answer these questions and more as we discuss how to clean out your spice rack and organize it for ease of use; shelf life of common spices and how to store them for maximum freshness; spice flavor profiles and how to pair them with different ingredients; and how to blend spices together to make your own rubs and blends for use in your kitchen. We will also discuss how to stock both your spice rack and pantry for quick and easy meal preparation.
