Shipping policies

Our website is currently experiencing our highest volume of orders in our history. For this reason, you may experience delays in order fulfillment of up to 1-2 business days. Please note that our team is doing everything they can to get your order shipped to you as quickly and safely as possible.

Due to changes in USPS policies and the continuing impact of COVID-19, USPS is experiencing significant service interruptions. (Learn more about the service interruptions here.) Package delivery can take up to 2 weeks longer than expected due to these circumstances. To ensure minimal impact on our customers as possible, we are suspending our first class USPS shipping option at this time. We encourage all customers to consider these guidelines when selecting a shipping option at the time of order:

  • For orders where delivery timeliness is required, please select a different shipping carrier for your order.

  • Check our store listing for locations close by and arrange for pickup or in-store shopping.

Delayed, damaged, or lost package claims will need to be addressed with your local USPS office customer service using the tracking number provided at the time of order. Spice & Tea Merchants cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged shipments, shipping delays, missing shipping information, or incorrect shipping addresses.

Returning an item

Within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may return any unopened product purchased from spicemerchants.biz. Please note that we can process returns and refunds only for items purchased directly through our online store. If you want to return an item purchased at one of our physical store locations, please contact that store directly.

To return arrange the return of items purchased from Spice and Tea Merchants, contact us at 269.888.3290 to obtain an return authorization (RA)# for your items. Safely package the items for return shipment, and include the reason for the return and the original packing slip, invoice, or order number and ship to:

Reporting a problem

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you have any problems with your order, we want to make it right. Please contact us within 30 days of the order so we can help.
