This rub is the second step in making mouthwatering Corned Beef! After brining the corned beef with our Corned Beef Brine Spices, use this spice blend to finish preparing the best homemade corned beef you can make. Follow the rest of the recipe below and enjoy!
Note: Corned Beef Spice Rub is sold in 1.25 ounce bags.
Slow-cooked Corned Beef
Remove Brisket from brine. Rinse well and pat dry. Rub well with contents of package.
Place in slow cooker, fat side up, on a bed of sliced sweet onions. Add 1 can (14.5 oz) stout.
Cook on low for about 7 hours. Remove brisket, tent with foil to rest, and reserve liquid.
Strain liquid and use to steam vegetables. Slice or shred brisket and serve with vegetables and Irish Soda Bread.
Ingredients: yellow mustard, onion, celery, garlic, allspice, black pepper, orange zest.
