Savory Nut Seasoning
Sweet, spicy, salty…who doesn’t love those spiced nuts sold at carnivals and fairs? Our signature blend of spices, salt, and sugar makes it easy to make spiced nuts at home with just a few minutes of prep. Make a batch for home snacking, or give them away as gifts. Note: Savory Nut Seasoning is sold in 8 ounce bags.
Baked Spiced Nuts
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Lightly grease 2 edged baking sheets.
In a large bowl, beat 2 egg whites until thickened yet still a bit frothy.
Add 6 cups unsalted pecans, walnuts, or nut blend. Stir until well coated. Add one 8 oz. bag of seasoning while stirring.
Bake in upper 2/3 of oven for 10 minutes; stir. Bake 10 minutes more; stir. Bake 5 minutes more.
Transfer to another cookie sheet. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
Ingredients: sugar, salt, pepper, chilies, spices.
